Open GB Settings → Privacy
From the main chat list, tap the three-dot menu → GB Settings → Privacy.

Open the Read Receipts section
Inside Privacy, look for "Blue Ticks" or "Read Receipts" — both labels are used in different builds. Tap to expand.

Configure asymmetrically
Two separate toggles: "Hide blue ticks (don't show I read it)" and "Show blue ticks from others (still see when others read mine)". Enable the first, leave the second on if you want one-way invisibility.
